Sorry for the very late update! Here's what you need to do:

1. Download the summative practice sheet below.
2. The summative will be in 4 parts: predict, observe, explain, and extend. Each part takes a few minutes to complete.
3. Predict: In the practice summative make a prediction of what you think will happen in the video. The teacher will pour both cold, blue water and warm, red water into another container of room temperature water. What will happen when the colors are poured into the container?
4. Watch the video and draw what you observe. Write a brief paragraph that describes what you observed.
5. Finally, explain why what you observed happened.

1. If you did not complete data analysis 1 on pp. 2-3 of handout 10, do that first. Use the link below to the tornado map. Then, check your answers using the key below.
2. Complete "Getting Started 2" on pp. 3-4 of handout 10.
3. Complete "Data Analysis 2" on pp. 4-5 of handout 10. Use the link below to the hurricane map. To reduce the amount of data shown:
   1. Select your ocean basin on the map (e.g. west atlantic) to only show storms from that area.
   2. Filter your storms by selecting the strength or type (e.g. category 5 only, tropical storms only).
4. Complete the homework above by Friday at 8am.
