- No homework.
Today we explored the differences between flowering plants. In previous classification systems, flowering plants (called angiosperms) were classified into two groups: monocots and dicots. Each group has certain features that separate it from the other group. Here's what you need to do:
- Download today's procedure, SDRO Handout 9, and the handout resource.
- Read through the procedure. Instead of completing part 1 of the handout as stations, you will do this on your own using the handout resource.
- For the seeds, the monocot seed is the corn, the dicot seed is the bean. The bean should have a seed coat label, but it is not included.
